it's a bird...it's a plane...no, it's...

Another day at home with the kiddos. Nothing out of the ordinary. The boys had been napping and I was getting a few last minute things done. Then all of a sudden my door bell rang. Funny cause I wasn't expecting anyone. I answered the door to see David's mom standing there. I was surprised to say the least! The reason being that she's from Portland, OR. We had no clue she was contemplating coming down and it's a pretty long drive to take on a 'whim'. She didn't even know if we'd be home.

The boys were able to spend almost a week with grandma. Tyler enjoyed grandmas company and her dog who came to visit as well. They went on walks together to take the dog potty. They saw dragon flies, a praying mantis and a bird who had made a nest in a little tree by the playground. Tyler loves going to the park but going everyday with grandma was the icing on the cake. He wanted to be everywhere she was, do everything she was doing and (of course) eat everything she ate.

Grandma felt as though she needed some time with the boys (who would blame her?!). But I'm thinking Tyler needed the time as much as she did. He was on cloud nine the whole time! Seeing him hang out, play and constantly be so excited while she was here really excites me to imagine him and Dylan playing together. It wont be long. I bet he can't wait till next time to see grandma again!

Grandma had a wonderful time as well, and was in tears when my little boy came up to me when I was leaving and said "but grandma, Ty Ty come with you". That was just WRONG! I love my little boys, and had so much fun. You guys are such awesome parents and I'm so proud and blessed.
